    FAQ
    What is Chelating?
Chelating is the process of removing metals and minerals from the hair such as those that exist in hard water and chlorine water.
Why should I chelate my hair?
Metals, minerals, dirt and oil sit on top of your hair preventing moisture from getting into the hair leaving your hair feeling dry and dull looking. The minerals and metals prevent products from being as effective as they should be.
Is the Brightening Powder a chelator?
Yes! It is a chelator that helps remove product residue, minerals, metals and chlorine from the hair.
How does the Brightening Powder Work?
A: It’s formulated with Disodium EDTA & Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) which are cheating agents that pull the impurities from the hair like a magnet and brightens.
Will this Brightening Powder work on brunette colored hair?
Yes, and it won’t impact your hair color either!
If I have Blonde Highlights and I want to brighten them, will it strip the rest of my color?
No, your color is safe and you will see some benefits from removing the buildup from your hair.
Will it make my hair dry and will it make it break?
The product won’t dry out or damage hair but you will need to condition after to close the hair cuticle.
Can I use this product on dark hair?
Yes, you can use it on dark hair! The only difference is that you won’t see as much of a change in your color compared to blonde hair.
What is hard water? What does it do my hair?
Hard water contains minerals and metals that can impact skin and hair. It can make hair feel coated, dry and cause breakage. It can also dull hair color, remove brightness and shine.
When should I use this product?
We recommend using this product twice a month or when hair looks weighed down. Use before coloring hair to get better coverage.Q: When should I use this product?
